Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

The guest will be received at Tribhuvan International Airport of Nepal by the representative of Himalayan Action Treks and Tours Pvt. Ltd. Guests are checked in to the standard 3 star hotel. There will be refreshment and short visit around the variant Cultural city, Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing and Trekking Preparation

The Himalayan Action Trek team will guide you through the upcoming event briefing. The day will be served with the sightseeing around Kathmandu towards the cultural and heritage sites such as Boudhanath Stupa,  Pashupatinath Temple, Basantapur and Swaymbhunath Stupa (Monkey temple) . Along with the cultural visit, evening time will be served with the welcoming dinner by Himalayan Action Treks and Tours.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2652m)

The day will be started after breakfast in early morning with the courageous and one of the fantastic flights in the world. The flight will be landed at Lukla airport. The Lukla Airport is also reknown as Tenzing – Hillary Airport, which was named after the first Everest summiteers; Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Admund Hillary in 2008. Lukla is a small and beautiful place with cultural richness. Short hike from Lukla will take us to Phakding. There will be short visit to the cultural places and monasteries on the way and around the Phakding on the day. The team will spend their evening at Phakding.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3400m)

Himalayan Action team will walk ahead to the beautiful sub-alpine forest, dominated by pines. The chilling environment will guide you along the Dudh Koshi River. The team will encounter many suspension bridges. The team will be inspired by the beautiful himalayan landscape and eyecatching view of Mount Thamserku, Lhotse and range of Mount Everest.  We will be passing through the one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Sagarmatha National Park. The rocky and shady trail along with the short ups and down will lead us to the Gateway of Mount Everest. We will rest in Namche on this day.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar: (Acclimatization Day)

The Himalayan Action team will have rest day at Namche. Namche Bazaar is the famous place as village of Sherpa and Himalayan culture. The place is fascinated by the cultural richness as well as the administrative junction of government offices, hotels, restaurants, cafes, shops, communication as well.  The day can be spend by short visit around the village and the observation of Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha NP.  One can have information about the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the cultural practices of Sherpa and Himalayan people at the region.

Day 06: Namche bazaar to Phorse

We will have wonderful and refreshed morning. We would leave early in the morning and follow the Pine and Rhododendron forest with little bit ups and downs to descend Kyanjuma. We will follow the Gokyo trails from Sansa and along with the mesmerizing view of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawoche and Khumbilla ranges. We would stay overnight at Phorse which is about 5 to 6 hours from Namche.

Day 07: Phortse Thanga to Machermo

Frequently we will encounter Dudh Koshi river in our way. Our trail would pass through shady and wild alpine forests covered conifer and Juniper with Pine and different species of Rhododendron. We have trek to sandy ups and down along with mountain views, wilderness, stream, rivers and bridges. We pass Dole and Luza village along with sandy trail to reach Machhermo. We can visit the HImalayan Rescue Hospital there and have overnight at Machhermo.

Day 08: Machermo Gokyo Lakes

We can have magnificent view of Kengtega and Dudh Koshi Valley from an ascend on a hill. The trail will lead us to the descent towards the river bank and ascend again to steep terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. There will be Longpongo, Rabohce Tsho and Dudh Pokhari before reaching to Gokyo. In Gokyo, there is the collection of stone houses and walled pastures on the shores of large lake. The lake is so much peaceful and spectacular. About 2 hours of climbing will take us to Gokyo Ri (5350m), which is a great spot to have panaromic view of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse and Twache. We will have overnight in Gokyo.

Day 09: Gokyo Lake explore around

The excurtion to the Gokyo peak usually starts early in the morning. The climb is quite steep first 30 minutes, it will take you an hour to reach the top with its traditional prayer flags. From where you will have a magnificent view of highest peaks, from the west to east are Cho you (8,153m), Gyachung Kang (7,922m), Everest ( 8848m), Lhotse (8,501m) and further way Makalu, On the way to descent you can enjoy, superb view of Gokyo Lake.

Day 10: Gokyo lake to Dole

Trek back to Dole

Day 11: Dole to Khumjung

After breakfast we will work to Khumjung, Khumjung is the largest settlement village in the Sherpa land where you will have chance to see real Sherpas. life style and there cultural activities, The village has also a high school which is funded by Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation and also an old monastery where they have preserved famous Yeti skull.

Day 12: Khumjung to Phakding

We start trekking after the breakfast. it would be again back to Namche Bazar. We keep descending thorugh the shops, bazars and have some lunch. The journey continues to the Phakding where we spend the night.

Day 13: Phakding to Lukla:

Last day of the trek in a bustling town enjoy dinner with Your Trekking crew.

Day 14: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

The Himalayan Action team will return back to Kathmandu after the great trail. Early morning flight will drop us to Kathmandu where we can have rest throughout the day at hotel or wonder around the city. At the evening, there will be cultural gathering and celebration for the completion of the journey.

Day 15: Free at Kathmandu

This is the free day at Kathmandu. Team can wonder around the city and take rest. It would be the preparation for departure

Day 16: Farewell

The day is the time for departure. The Himalayan Action Team will drop you to the Airport according to your flight time.
