Annapurna Base Camp is one of the best tourist destinations in the world. It is situated in Nepal at the height of 4150m above the sea level. Different tourist packages have different days to arrive there but the beauty would enchant all from the starting day of the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. The Different view of the Annapurna Range from different view point and the majestic scenario of sunrise and sunset in the alpine mountains are heart stealing.  Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandarva Chuli, Hiuchuli, Machhapuchhre all surrounds you in the Annapurna Base Camp.

You can feel the peace of Himalayas at the lap of the mountains and glare at the scenic vistas of Mount Machhapuchhre and surroundings that disperses their beauty with golden shade at first light of the sun. Day 04: Khudi to Sirung (2200m/7216 ft): 6 - 7 hours

Day 05: Sirung to Jagat (1,300m/4265ft): 6 - 7 hours

Day 06: Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft): 7-8 hours

Day 07: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft): 5 - 6 hours

Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824ft): 5 - 6 hours

Day 09: Pisang to Manang : 6 - 7 hours

Day 10: Manang: Acclimatization day

Day 11: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft): 3 - 4 hours

Day 12: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft): 3 - 4 hours

Day 13: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft) via Thorong La pass (5416m/17764ft): 7 - 8 hours

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m/8,760ft): 4 - 5 hours

Day 15: Marpha to Kalopani (2,530 m/8,300 ft): 5 - 6 hours

Day 16: Kalopani to Tatopani (1,200m/3,937ft): 6 - 7 hours

Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft): 7 - 8 hours

Day 18: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft): 6 - 7 hours

Day 19:  Tadapani to Pokhara (827m/2,789ft) via Ghandruk: 5 - 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

Day 20: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 5-6 hours

Day 21: Final departure

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

The Himalayan Action Treks and Tours representatives will receive you in the Tribhuvan International Airport at your arrival. The company will take you to your accommodation and manage for your resting. You will be guided with brief introduction about the trek by the experts. There will be Traditional Nepalese Dinner at your service by the company in the evening.


Day 02: Sightseeing and Trekking Preparation

The Kathmandu Valley is ancient city with its vibrant color of people and their culture. Historical monuments, temples, stupas, monasteries, museums are places of attractions. The city has much more interesting stories about people and their life so the day will be yours with them. We will be having a sightseen around these treasures and have final preparation for the Trekking.

Day 03: Drive to Khudi (800m/2,624ft): 7- 8 hours

We will start our journey along the Prithbhi Highway in tourist bus. Trishuli River runs alongside and nurtures many hilly fields. Admirable terraced fields and hilly houses are beautiful. We take way to Pokhara from Muglin and then divert to Beshisahar. About half an hour of ride will take us to Khudi which is the starting point of the trek. Beautiful glimpse of Manaslu range welcomes you in Khudi.

Day 04: Khudi to Sirung (2200m/7216 ft): 6 - 7 hours

Now our trek starts to the foothills of the mountain. We walk along the gravel roads and gradually take uphill. We pass suspension bridges and waterfalls on the way. The landscape of hilly region with the stony houses, terraced farming, steep agriculture and warm hearted peoples greeting on the way are fabulous. The closer view of Mountain range is admirable and encouraging to trek. Nadi Chuli and Manaslu mountain range are closer and more beautiful when we reach Sirung village. We stay overnight in Sirung and eagerly wait for the next day.

Day 05: Sirung to Jagat (1,300m/4265ft): 6 - 7 hours

We will be headed to Jagat. We pass many small villages. It is relatively easier than the day before’s trek. We pass jungle, suspension bridge and waterfall. We will walk alongside of Marshyangdi River. Passing scorching sun and shady jungle with some bridges, we trek the beautiful trail and reach the Jagat.

Day 06: Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft): 7-8 hours

We will have descent rocky trail till reaching the river. Then we pass through a forest in its natural shed and incline a sharp edged cliff. The trail comprises slippery path to Sattale. We will be gifted with the attractive backdrop of Annapurna range on the way at Chyamje. Trail leads descend to grassy riverbank and to Tal. Our trail might be windy and rugged. After leaving Tal, steep and Shady path of forest will lead to Karte village. Then on the meandering way we finally reach to Dharapani where we have our nightstay.

Day 07: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft): 5 - 6 hours

We will be heading to headquarter of Manang. It is relatively short trek to Chame, through some forest, rocky way and scenario of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna range. We can reenergize ourselves in hot spring that come on the way. We will stay in Chame.

Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824ft): 5 - 6 hours

We will be following very narrow and steep path today. It will lead to a dense forest and narrow valley. After crossing bridges at 2910 meters and another at 3040 meter, we explore the majestic view of Paungda Danda. It is massive sloping rock rising over 1500m. We then climb to Pisang and spend the night.

Day 09: Pisang to Manang : 6 - 7 hours

We walk towards the Upper Pisang via Geru, the drier part of the Annapurna range. We still view the Himalayan vistas and the beautiful landscape on the trail. We can witness the yak herders, pasture land and beautiful village fields. We can have short visit to Barge monastery on the way as it is the largest monastery in the entire district. We spend our night in Manang.

Day 10: Manang: Acclimatization day

It will be the rest day. We prepare ourselves for the upcoming trek. We warm up with short hike to nearby Gangapurna Lake or Varga village. Our body gets some break this day. We stay night at Manang.

Day 11: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft): 3 - 4 hours

Today we leave Manang and the Marshyangdi Valley. We take ascent to about 500 meters to the Yak Kharka. We climb slowly and steadily passing Tenki Manang. We can find Yak herders, grazing land, river, stream and sparse vegetation. We pass via the traditional Ghunsa village with flat mud roofed houses and beautiful mani wall in the meadow. We reach Yak Kharka at 4000 meter. We spend night there.

Day 12: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft): 3 - 4 hours

Thorong Phedi is the last village before the Thorang Pass (5416m). We ascend from Yak Kharka passing Ledar village and towering cliffs. About 2 hours of climb up and a descent to cross river and again climb up will take us to Thorang Phedi. We will be rewarded with one of the best view of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syangang, Thorung Peak and Mt. Khatungkan. We stay overnight in Thorong Phedi.

Day 13: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft) via Thorong La pass (5416m/17764ft): 7 - 8 hours

We set off our trek very early, around 3 am in the morning. Today we pass worlds one of the highest passes. Wind, snow and altitude might hinder our way so early and steady walk will be the best. The journey will be rewarded with magnificent view while at the top. The pass is marked with Chortens and praying flags. Now we trek ahead to the holy land, Muktinath. It resembles the Nirvana and sacred pilgrim for both Hindus and Buddhist.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m/8,760ft): 4 - 5 hours

In this holy land we start our day with the visit to Muktinath. We descend from Ranipauwa village towards the Kagbeni. We will trek along the plateau above Kali Gandaki River, the world’s deepest gorge. The gorge separates Dhaulagiri on the West and Annapurna at the East. The Kali Gandaki River is also regarded as sacred river.

Tumbling down we get to Jomsom and then Marpha. It is a beautiful place. The ancient trading route, famous apple and their varieties of foods are available here. We stay overnight in Marpha.

Day 15: Marpha to Kalopani (2,530 m/8,300 ft): 5 - 6 hours

Today we head to Kalopani via Chokhopani village. Today, we come across traditional villages of the ethnic Thakali people. We explore scenic vistas of Dhaulagari, Tukuche, Nilgiri, Fang and Annapurna I mountains. We will be heading towards Kokhethanti. We stay overnight at Kalopani.

Day 16: Day 16: Kalopani to Tatopani (1,200m/3,937ft): 6 - 7 hours

Today, we will descent against the rocky paths on the trail. We will find again the vegetation, rivers and bridges. We encounter Rupse Chahara (waterfall), which is enchanting. Then via Kopchepani we head to Narchyang Besi. There is a powerhouse. We might explore the local people and their culture along the passing villages. We will be staying in Tatopani. We can reenergize ourselves in natural hot spring.

Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft): 7 - 8 hours

We will be passing via different villages, fields and forest. The trail will explore the beautifully farmed terrace, local houses, local people, rhododendron forest and hilly scenes. With the greenery we get to reach Ghorepani at the top of ridge. We see the panaromic lofty Himalayan range and stay overnight there.

Day 18: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft): 6 - 7 hours

The best part is to catch the sunrise from Poon Hill with magical view of sun’s ray kissing the mountains. We wake up very early in the morning to start our day with special. From the Poon Hill We enjoy sunrise, views of Mustang Pokhara and the lofty Himalayas. With the spectacular scenes and photographs we have breakfast at Ghorepani and will be heading to Tadapani. We descend along with beautiful rhododendron forest and scenic vistas. We will spend our night in Tadapani .


Day 19: Tadapani to Pokhara (827m/2,789ft) via Ghandruk: 5 - 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

It will be interesting walk in the dense forest of rhododendron. We might catch up the beauty in blooming season as if we are walking in the garden of rhododendron. We will pass by a beautiful traditional village of Gurung, Ghandruk. It has the beauty of ethnic culture and local tradition. Close of view of Fishtail, Annapurna south, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli will astonish you. We will refresh ourself with the scenic beauty and descend to Nayapool. We will drive from Nayapool to Pokhara. We will be enjoying by lakeside and the beautiful Pokhara City. We stay in Pokhara.

Day 20: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 5-6 hours

Early morning at 7:30 by bus you can be in Kathmandu at about 6-7 hours depending upon the traffic.

Day 21: : Final departure

The representatives from the Himalayan Action Treks and Tours will take you to the Airport approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight. Hoping the journey would had been great, we would call you again for your next visit.
